Preorders for Tears of the Kingdom soundtrack go live in Japan and USA

The nine-CD box set of Tears of the Kingdom‘s soundtrack, previously announced to celebrate the first anniversary of the game’s release, has officially hit markets for preorder. We previously reported the Japanese box set was a Japan exclusive. However, preorders are now available in the USA through various distributors. According to the soundtrack’s page on Amazon, its expected release is August 9. It is important to note these preorders are imports, and Nintendo of America has yet to announce an official United States localized version.

According to the official announcement on Nintendo of Japan’s website, the box set contains 344 tracks across 9 discs. It includes original recording and BGM and sound effects. Along with the standard edition, there is also a limited edition version with an exclusive box design and a Master Sword themed USB containing 15 high definition FLAC files, including 3 tracks in 5.1 surround sound. Prices and shipping depend on the distributor. Luckily, Twitter/X user Nintendeal has compiled retailer links where preorders are currently available.
