After nearly two years of waiting, an official English translation of the Tears of the Kingdom Master Works book is up for preorder now, and it’s called “Secrets of the Zonai.” This book is akin to Breath of the Wild’s “Creating a Champion” book, which is filled to the brim with concept art, sketches, world building and lore of Hyrule’s Wild Era and beyond. In this case, “Secrets of the Zonai” will finally tie together the lore connecting between Tears of the Kingdom and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment with the rest of the Wild Era. And wow, is this book a beast. There’s a whopping 472 pages total!
Some Zelda fans have expressed concerns about how accurate the official English translation might be, but the news of its release has thus far been received positively in the community.
The preorders, which can be found on Amazon and Dark Horse Comics’s website, have a Standard Edition and a Hero’s Edition available while supplies last. The Standard Edition contains just the book, while the Hero’s Edition includes the book, a green slipcase, an exclusive cover, an art print of Link and the Sages, a cloth map of Hyrule’s Depths, and a replica of Princess Zelda’s Secret Stone.
