Prepare to be transported to the island of New Theland as Nova the Nano Cleaner for the much anticipated Anodyne 2: Return to Dust. The release date has been set for February 18, 2021.
The original Anodyne game, released for Switch in February 2019, was highly acclaimed for its throwback 16-bit pixel graphics that reminded many folks of The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. Similarly, Anodyne 2 focuses on exploring 2D Zelda-style dungeons with the concept of adventure and fantasy in games while exploring the dreamy 3D landscapes reminiscent of the Nintendo 64 era.
The game, produced by the duo Sean Han Tani and Marina Kittaka, will be available on Nintendo Switch ($19.99 on the Switch eShop), PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox One/Series X on February 18, 2021.
