Here are all the bosses spotted in the Link’s Awakening trailer

One thing the latest Link’s Awakening remake trailer isn’t lacking is combat — there are half a dozen fleeting appearances of the game’s big bads! The original game was crammed full of weird and wonderful boss fights, so it’s very exciting to see all of these monsters re-emerge in a whole new visual style.

Hinox

This is the first Hinox fight in the game, which appears as the mini-boss of Bottle Grotto. Later in the game, there is also a red Hinox at Eagle’s Tower, and a blue Hinox at Turtle Rock. This enemy can pick up Link and hurl him across the room, damaging him.

Master Stalfos

Mini-boss of Catfish’s Maw, Master Stalfos is fought four times as Link explores this dungeon.

Cue Ball

We also saw the first of two fights with aquatic adversary Cue Ball, which takes place in Angler’s Tunnel. It later returns in Turtle Rock, this time scuttling in lava instead of water.

Rolling Bones

We actually caught a glimpse of Rolling Bones in the reveal trailer back in February, but here he is bouncing around in the newly featured Chamber Dungeons.

Moldorm

In another Chamber Dungeon room lurks Moldorm, the Nightmare boss from the Tail Cave. You know the drill: strike that tail!

Evil Eagle

This boss fight is very interesting indeed, as it removes multi-directional movement from the player and pits them against Evil Eagle in a 2D plane. Fun fact: This is the only dungeon boss in the game that does not speak!

You can catch all of these fearsome foes in motion in the trailer below. We’ll keep you informed of any more bosses that may show up in the upcoming Treehouse footage.
