It’s been seven months since the release of the groundbreaking Breath of the Wild, and still people are playing, discussing and sharing their greatest moments and achievements of the game. The community is as active as ever, and the newly implemented video capture feature means it’s easier than ever to share. I’m still coming across new tricks and discoveries in the game that people are posting online on a near daily basis, and I’m still loving all of it.

That’s because Breath of the Wild presents not just a game, but a new world: one that we’re all a part of, and where all of our adventures are truly our own. Nintendo knows this, too, and to celebrate all of our favourite moments, the UK branch is running two contests offering some amazing Zelda-themed prizes!

#ZeldaMoments Contest

The first is the “#ZeldaMoments Contest”, which invites players to submit “a short video of yourself talking about your favourite moment from the game” with the hashtag “#ZeldaMoments” on Twitter or Instagram. Of course, if you’re not comfortable with publicising the video, you can still enter by sending your post (with your favourite moment and the hashtag) and send the clip to nintendocommunity@nintendo.co.uk (with a link to your tweet or post with the subject line “Your #ZeldaMoments Contest”).

Two selected winners will be invited to Nintendo UK (travel costs included), where your favourite moment will be filmed and included in future promotions. You’ll also win a Zelda-themed goody bag and a £100 Nintendo eShop credit! Runners-up will also receive the goody bag and an invitation to the filming.

#ZeldaMoments Creation Contest

For you creative folk, there is also another chance to win some Zelda goodness. All you need to do is create something that represents your favourite moment in Breath of the Wild. Nintendo UK says there are no limits on what you can create, “from plushies, to paintings, statues, dioramas and anything in between” (if you create something physical, you may be requested to post it to Nintendo UK).

Two winning entrants will receive two tickets to Symphony of the Goddesses at the Eventim Apollo, London, on November 21 (travel costs and hotel accomodation included)! You’ll also receive the Zelda goody bag and £100 Nintendo eShop credit, and Nintendo’s favourite entries will be showcased at the concert for all attending fans to see.

Good luck!

The competitions close at 23:59 on November 14, 2017, and you can see all of the details and terms and conditions for yourself on Nintendo’s website. Be sure to tune in to the Nintendo UK Twitter account, as they’ll be retweeting some of the best entries.

Best of luck to all who enter!
