Nintendo has announced today via Twitter that a new Nintendo Direct would take place two days from now, on September 13! This new direct will have new information on future Switch and 3DS titles, where the newest Mario game, Super Mario Odyssey, was emphasized to make an appearance.

Fan speculation has reigned over the comments of this announcement, with many wanting to see news about a Switch game for Animal Crossing, Smash Bros., among other popular titles.
