It’s not only the UK which has recently seen a huge increase in Nintendo Switch sales. In Japan recent sales have increased by 30,000, which is a 57 percent increase. Obviously consumers in Japan are very happy with the performance of the Switch and the lineup of games available.

It has been speculated that the increase is down to students just graduating and beginning spring break. I’m sure teachers and professors will be very happy to know that their students completed their studies before picking up the Switch. There can’t be many more ideal ways to spend a break than relaxing and playing Breath of the Wild.

The Nintendo Switch’s success keeps growing and positive news stories continue to be released. Let’s hope this positive news continues through the next few months, especially with Nintendo’s plans for E3!

Not only that, but a lot of us Mexicans are buying from Japan because the prices in Mexico are ridiculous. Like BOTW Special Edition around $175 USD, Switch around $500 USD, If we buy from Japan the price is similar to the US.
