Nintendo Music adds A Link Between Worlds soundtrack to Nintendo Music, launches new app features

Nintendo continues to expand its Nintendo Music library with the recent addition of Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds soundtrack, bringing tracks from the beloved Nintendo 3DS adventure to the music streaming service. It joins the catalogue alongside Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time, and Phantom Hourglass, among many others.

Nintendo Music has received several new quality-of-life features that improve the listening experience. Users can now access the service through a web browser at Nintendo’s newly launched web browser player as well as tablet devices. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support has also been added, so fans can listen to their favorite game soundtracks on the go. Nintendo has also added the “My Mix” feature, which generates personalized playlists based on the user’s listening history, a functionality that is common for most music streaming services. You can watch the new trailer announcing all of these features here.

It is great to see Nintendo continue support for these platforms within their ecosystem and it’ll be interesting to keep up with the new soundtrack additions as well. Some classic Zelda soundtracks are still notably missing such as Twilight Princess, Majora’s Mask and Link’s Awakening. Hopefully, we will see these games and the rest of the franchise added to the platform soon. Keep in mind that a Nintendo Account and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to access the service.
