Starting from humble beginnings, the Nintendo Music app has slowly added a greater selection of games, and A Link to the Past‘s iconic soundtrack has now joined the bunch. This transformative collection of songs helped forge Zelda‘s musical identity by introducing many themes that would become series staples. This includes Princess Zelda’s theme, later known as “Zelda’s Lullaby”, the Fairy Fountain theme, Agahnim’s theme which would be later known as Ganondorf’s theme, Hyrule Castle, and many more.

Nintendo Music launched with Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild, and since then has added Skyward Sword and The Wind Waker to the growing track list. The newest addition now means five of Zelda‘s greatest soundtracks have found their way onto the app.
Though, with A Link to the Past now on Nintendo Music, why would anyone listen to any music on the app besides the Hyrule Castle theme?
