Nintendo has quietly released the original soundtrack of the first Legend of Zelda game on the Nintendo Music app in both its versions for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and for the Japanese Famicom game console.
Though the track itself is laughably small with less than ten minutes of total music time, the soundtrack by the renowned staff member Koji Kondo is evidence of “Zelda music” for the very first time, and it’s quite legendary today for its place in video game history. Now you can hear the game’s music as it was originally intended on the Nintendo Music App, which is accessible to the ears of anyone with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The app is available for free download on the iPhone App Store and Google Play.
