Nintendo has announced that support for the Hulu app will cease early next month.
The entertainment streaming app can no longer be found on the Nintendo eShop, and for those who have it installed, it will no longer function from February 5, 2026.
After Disney finalized its deal to acquire ownership of Hulu last year, the company announced that standalone Hulu apps would be phased out in 2026. Disney is “fully integrating” the Hulu service into the Disney+ platform, though noted that customers can still purchase a standalone Hulu subscription.
The Hulu app for Nintendo Switch launched in North America and Japan in November 2017. Hulu apps were also available on previous Nintendo systems, including the Wii, 3DS, and Wii U.
