Nintendo released even more visual goodies featuring Echoes of Wisdom as we get closer to the game’s worldwide launch on September 26, 2024. Marketing campaigns for the game are now in full force with commercials airing in the United States and Japan that are currently producing epic internet memes. (If you suddenly develop a subconscious craving for meat, that’s probably why.) The Big N also released an overview trailer yesterday. Much of the game footage remains the same as what we’ve seen before in previous trailers. The overview trailer seems to be a condensed recap of what we know so far. Observant fans are pointing out, however, that bits and pieces of new game footage has also appeared, which includes a few hints of Lon Lon Ranch and Mount Hebra on the Hyrule map.
What’s going on up there? What does Mount Hebra have to do with our fair Princess? Fans are digging through the footage pining to uncover clues that seem hidden in the snowdrifts. Footage of the area is scarce at this time, indicating that there might be key story elements at play there. Or, there could be little happening there at all and the claims are as reliable as finding a Yeti in a blizzard. (Yes, we know, there are Yetis in Hyrule but that doesn’t count.) With so many new twists introduced in this game, who knows what we’ll find.
