The Legend of Zelda fans anticipating the digital release of Echoes of Wisdom will need to reserve about 6GB of Nintendo Switch storage space for the upcoming game.
Nintendo has published an official eShop listing for the title, which reveals its file size and allows for pre-orders.
Echoes of Wisdom shares a similar file size to the Link’s Awakening remake, which is perhaps not surprising given that both games share the same visual style. This may indicate that the world of the upcoming installment will have a similar size to Link’s Awakening and that the game may require a similar timeframe to complete (around 15-18 hours).
This news comes shortly after the confirmation that the new title, which puts Princess Zelda in the leading role, will include amiibo compatibility.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2024, alongside a Hyrule Edition Nintendo Switch Lite.
