If you thought the second trailer of Echoes of Wisdom was amazing enough, even more tantalizing information has come to light on the Japanese website for the game. Fans discovered that various screenshots and videos were seemingly shadow dropped into the site like treasure chests waiting to be opened.
These screenshots included another screenshot of Ganon against Link, and a rich variety of situations featuring our Princess Zelda star. Several of them featured her holding up various items and Echoes that will help her in the game. Others were Zelda speaking to shopkeepers and townsfolk of various races, including Hylians, Gerudo, Dekus, and the adorable Gorons. (Well, they’re all adorable, arguably.) We even get to see her royal Highness take on some type of rocky boss. But perhaps the most intriguing of all were snippets of Zelda sneaking around her own Hyrule Castle guards for some reason, a screenshot of her father the King for the very first time, and a video of him pushing his daughter out of harm’s way as a void steals him away from the throne room as if from nowhere!
What was Zelda and her father talking about? Why is the Princess sneaking around her own guards? Is the King safe? Is he with Link?
