Monolith Soft, known for its work on the Xenoblade franchise, is continuing to expand as they recently announced a variety of new job openings on their website and social media platforms. Some of the listings include roles for 2D and 3D graphic artists as well as openings listed for “The Legend of Zelda series.” Since Monolith Soft collaborated with Nintendo on developing Breath of the Wild, it’s likely that the studio’s expanding to continue to work more efficiently alongside Nintendo on the development of the sequel.

The company has also worked with Nintendo on multiple titles in the past, such as Splatoon 2 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and has been expanding consistently over the last few years. Once the current listings are filled, the studio will be comprised of approximately 300 people.
Eiji Aonuma has already confirmed that fans will get more information on the highly anticipated sequel to Breath of the Wild later this year, and it seems like the project might be one of the most ambitious Nintendo has ever worked on. As of right now, we have no confirmation on exactly when the game will be shown, but with E3 coming up soon and Nintendo already confirming that they will be participating in the event, one might assume that the next showing of the game will happen then.
