The excitement over the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for the Nintendo Switch has translated directly into Amazon pre-orders around the globe.
Skyward Sword HD currently occupies the top game spot on Amazon’s Video Games Best Seller list and the Nintendo Switch Best Seller list, despite the preorder only going live on the website nearly a week ago.
Elsewhere on the Internet, Skyward Sword HD is the second game after Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury on the British Amazon site, and the sixth game on the Australian version of Amazon behind Link’s Awakening for Switch and Cadence of Hyrule.
While brand-new Zelda releases traditionally do well in terms of pre-order volume and first-week sales, it’s certainly exciting to see that a remastered edition is also doing comparably well.
With its update to HD graphics and new controls, it’s easy to see why fans are getting so excited by Skyward Sword HD‘s release on July 16, 2020.
