The grand opening of Japan’s Super Nintendo World is delayed again, but that can’t stop you from bringing home a piece of the excitement now!
Exclusive to Universal Studios Japan, all six Super Nintendo World’s Power-Up Bands (Daisy, Luigi, Mario, Peach, Toad, and Yoshi) are available to order from the NintendoSoup store for $69.99 each.
To use the Power-Up Band, connect to the official Universal Studios Japan app on Android/iOS to view your status as you take on key challenges, collect coins and items, and enhance your experience at Super Nintendo World. Don’t worry, on-site you will also be able to view your progress at the checkpoint terminals throughout Super Nintendo World itself.
As an added bonus, the Power-Up Band doubles as an amiibo on the Nintendo Switch.
You don’t need to live in Japan to receive a Power-Up Band; international shipping is available for $16.00 through Express Mail Service. While typical shipping would take two to five business days, the NintendoSoup store posts the following notice: “We are currently experiencing delays with sending out products from Japan due to the state of emergency. Please give additional time for shipments.”
