New footage of the indie-developed Cadence of Hyrule — Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring the Legend of Zelda was shown in Nintendo of Japan’s Indie World presentation earlier today, along with a confirmed release date of “June 2019” for the Switch, tossing everyone’s (including ours) end-of-May predictions out the window.

June is technically still spring in North America. Technically.

The specific date is still officially unknown, but the speculated June 20 date found in the source code of Nintendo of America’s webpage remains as of this post. Even a June 20 release would be considered “spring” in North America, and with a new E3 Direct right around the corner, Nintendo may still surprise us with something sooner.
