Nintendo recently provided an update on what the 20 most played Switch games have been since launch. Unsurprisingly to most, Breath of the Wild ranks as the most played.
Here’s the full list:
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Splatoon 2
- Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition
- Stardew Valley
- Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
- ARMS
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+
- NBA 2K18
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
- Fire Emblem Warriors
- LEGO City Undercover
- Sonic Mania
- Pokken Tournament DX
- 1-2 Switch
- FIFA 18
- Disgaea 5 Complete
- Rocket League
To be clear, the metric isn’t clear if “most played” means “the number of people that have played it on Switch,” or “the number of hours played,” but either way is fairly impressive.
I doubt there’s any surprise of the top few games, but I’m happy to see some third-party games rounding out the overall list. Considering how many ways and places there are to play Skyrim, seeing it in the top 10 is actually very cool!
While we don’t have the solid numbers behind this, it’s still cool to get some semblance of what’s going on with the software behind the nation’s Fastest Selling Console Ever.
