A new month brings new My Nintendo rewards, and while the service has yet to live up to the glory days of its predecessor the offerings have been consistent in quantity, if not quality.

For only 50 Platinum Coins — which, despite their name, are incredibly easy to accumulate — you gain access to the wallpaper in various sizes.
When the best of a list of rewards is merely a wallpaper, it may be time to take a long look at the kind of service My Nintendo provides. Perhaps with the Wii U’s troubles in the past and the Switch on its way to match Wii sales numbers, Nintendo will be able to spare the time and expense for making My Nintendo a worthwhile investment for their fans.
