Good news! Nintendo of Europe is offering three exclusive Super Nintendo posters as redeemable rewards through My Nintendo.
The three posters come as a single set, featuring promotional artwork for Super Metroid, A Link to the Past, and Super Mario Kart. The poster set can be redeemed for 300 Platinum Points plus shipping and handling fees that are listed on the redemption page. These are first come, first served, so be sure to jump on this soon if you’re interested.
Your total number of Platinum Points includes (at least for this purchase) any mobile game-specific Points you may have earned from games like Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Fire Emblem: Heroes. If you’re a little short on Points you can try earning the last few you need by checking out one of Nintendo’s mobile games.

The posters themselves are “glossy and high quality,” are printed on 170g/m² paper, and are 70 x 50cm in size. For shipping purposes, they will be rolled up and placed in a box, so keep that in mind when planning to display them. I’ve found that a good way to flatten out rolled-up posters without causing damage to them is to place them face-down on a flat surface, then place heavy books at each of the four corners and anywhere else along the edge that seems to have a lot of curling. Leave them for a few hours and the poster should be good to hang up without fear of it curling inward and falling off the wall.
You get a code when you redeem your Platinum Points that can then be used to get the poster set, and that code is only valid for 48 hours after the initial Points redemption — basically, it’s best to be quick and to do it all in one go when trying to get these.
Update: We have learned that, in the time it took to get this story up, the posters have sold out. As appears to be very frequent with physical Nintendo merchandise available online, they are out of stock with no information about a possible second run. We recommend keeping an eye out but we will do our best to update this if they become available again.
