One of the key features of the Nintendo Switch is portability. Hook it up to your television and while you’re laid out on the couch, or play it on a flight to see your friend on the other side of the world. But the gaming doesn’t have to stop once you get there! Let’s say that friend you’re visiting in Australia has Breath of the Wild but you don’t, and you want to try it out (completely hypothetical, we know you’ll be getting it on launch day). Previously, games were only compatible with systems from the same region, but not anymore! There will be no region locking on the Nintendo Switch, so just pop that Aussie cartridge into your American Switch and have fun playing!
