The Nintendo Digital Event will be an hour or less in length

As is traditionally the case, Nintendo’s presentation at E3 this year will be shorter than that of its rivals. Following Microsoft’s 90-minute press conference today, we can now confirm that the Nintendo Digital Event will be an hour or less in length.

According to the thumbnails displayed on the (currently offline) Nintendo UK Twitch, the Nintendo Treehouse livestream will kick off at 6pm BST, exactly one hour after the Nintendo Digital Event starts. This of course means that the Digital Event will have to wrap up within the hour to keep on schedule.

This isn’t too surprising, given that last year’s showing was just a little over 45 minutes long. What I love about Nintendo’s streams is that they keep announcements compact and tightly knit together, not giving us fans time to breathe between all the frenzy of new and exciting games.

The hype is very real. Stay tuned to Zelda Universe for updates on all of the most thrilling announcements from the event!
