Nintendo has published a video containing some beautiful, high-definition footage from the Symphony of the Goddesses Master Quest concert in Tokyo. We previously reported that the music of Majora’s Mask appears in the song list, and the video highlights this. Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma and composer Koji Kondo are both interviewed in the video. Aonuma talks about Majora’s Mask 3D and some of its new features. “I hope you will have fun playing this game in a brand new way,” he tells the audience.

When Koji Kondo gets up in front of the audience, he looks absolutely humbled that his music is being performed in such a setting.

“The orchestra brings out the soul in the music that I composed for this game. I’m extremely happy.” — Koji Kondo

I have to agree, as nice as the original tracks are, as cool as the OC remixes are and as awesome as the new version of Gerudo Valley is I can’t help but be captivated whenever listening to orchestrations of Zelda music.

I really hope this Master Quest symphony finds it’s way to CD or MP3 as I want to keep it on my phone, just like the 25th Anniversary tracks that came with Skyward Sword.
