November 21, 2014 is a day that many Nintendo fans around the world have been eagerly looking forward to. We have the highly anticipated Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire launching and now US fans have something else to add to our wishlists: the crystal red and crystal blue 2DS, which was previously reported as UK-only.
With a new low price of $99.99, the new 2DS will allow gamers of all ages to experience the 3DS library of over 3,000 titles, including the recently announced Majora’s Mask 3D, and sink their teeth into online features such as Miiverse, StreetPass, and multiplayer games. Plus, the semi-transparent design is a nice throwback to our beloved Game Boy systems.
