This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, but it’s reassuring to hear regardless. According to Nintendo Japan, Super Smash Bros. 3DS has surpassed one million sales within its first week of launch. The figure includes both retail and digital units.
The fighting franchise’s portable debut is now the fourth title to reach this milestone in Japan, after Monster Hunter 4, Pokemon X/Y and Youkai Watch 2. Expect the game to ship many millions more copies when it hits other territories — can’t wait!
