Skyward Sword retains its No. 1 spot in the Japanese sales charts this week

Skyward Sword HD’s sales continue to soar as it remains Japan’s top-selling game this past week and was joined by nine other Switch titles in the top 10, according to Famitsu.

In the game’s second week out on the market, it sold 42,642 units in the Japanese market, taking Skyward Sword HD’s total sales in Japan to over 200,000 copies. Other top-selling titles of this week include Nintendo games such as Ring Fit Adventure, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Golf: Super Rush, and Game Builder Garage, among others.

Skyward Sword’s Link in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which was seventh in the Japanese sales charts this week.

The Nintendo Switch, and The Legend of Zelda, keep doing terrific around the world, which is no less true in their home country of Japan! Here is the full top 10 list for the week of July 19 through 25, as reported by Famitsu.
