Nintendo Switch sales up in Japan following updated model release

revised switch with better battery

According to recently released sales data from Famitsu, the Nintendo Switch has seen a significant sales jump in Japan. This increase is possibly attributable to the release of the updated HAC-001-01 model that hit store shelves just a few weeks ago.

Featuring a newly revised Tegra X1 processor, code-named “Mariko,” the latest Switch model sees very few noticeable upgrades aside from the nearly doubled battery life, which is the key selling point for the new units.
