You can grab the Smash Bros. official soundtrack for free if you purchase both versions

Should you purchase both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. instalment, then Nintendo has a treat just for you in their new promotion.

After you register both games on Club Nintendo, you are eligible to receive the games’ official soundtrack for free. Going by the image provided on Nintendo’s website, the soundtrack appears to consist of two CDs, labelled “Red” and “Blue”. Considering the 3DS version’s box art was red and the Wii U’s blue, presumably there is a CD for each game.

The offer is confirmed for US and Europe. We don’t yet know when this offer expires, but Nintendo adds that “More details about the promotion will be available in the coming weeks.”

You can get a taste for what’s to come on the soundtrack by checking out the samples on the official Super Smash Bros. website.
