A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL bundle sells out in Japan… in 5 minutes

Despite Japan having a smaller Zelda fanbase than other territories, it seems there were a lot of eager A Link Between Worlds supporters when the new 3DS XL bundle hit. 700 units went live this morning on Amazon Japan, and five minutes later, they were all gone. NintendoTweet excitedly tweeted the moment they went live, following shortly with “300 units sold in 3 minutes”, and “700 LoZ bundles sold in 5 minutes”. She also has an image as proof that they sold out. It’ll be interesting to see how quickly North America and Europe snap up their Limited Edition 3DS XLs.

Also, here’s the box art for Japan’s bundle. Take a good look while you can, as it may disappear if you blink.
