A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL bundle (Japan)

Despite Japan having a smaller Zelda fanbase than other territories, it seems there were a lot of eager A Link Between Worlds supporters when the new 3DS XL bundle hit. 700 units went live this morning on Amazon Japan, and five minutes later, they were all gone. NintendoTweet excitedly tweeted the moment they went live, following shortly with “300 units sold in 3 minutes”, and “700 LoZ bundles sold in 5 minutes”. She also has an image as proof that they sold out. It’ll be interesting to see how quickly North America and Europe snap up their Limited Edition 3DS XLs.

Also, here’s the box art for Japan’s bundle. Take a good look while you can, as it may disappear if you blink.

Seems like a good trend, but the 3DS has been doing really good for the last 5 months.

  • Sakume

    I'm tempted with this. Haven't gotten a 3dsxl yet.

  • Trance

I don't care that I already have the New Leaf 3DS XL.
My love for LoZ is too much to let this go.

Selling my boring, grey XL for this one!

I have a XL from launch, Red…so, I Think it’s time to upgrade, lol..and with that, I hope Nintendo will bring enough ALBW Limited Edition 3DS XLs to Europe and North America/ etc. so, that there’ll be enough for everyone who’ll buy one. I too am eagerly awaiting to buy/pre-order one myself. I’ll be very disappointed if I happen to miss it because not enough were released.

    Some scary stuff, bro.

  • Sanguiluna

Damn, that's awesome, considering that Japan's Zelda fanbase is considerably smaller than the western countries'.
