Music Monday: October

Music-Monday

It’s October, a time for pumpkins, hay rides, football (in the US), candy corn and of course, Halloween!  So this month, we thought it’d only be appropriate to cover music reminiscent of fall. Whether it’s dungeons or scarecrows, expect to hear music to put you in the fall mood. Hit the jump to see what we picked.

Amanda’s pick

Pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin bread. In the fall, it seems like there’s never a shortage of pumpkin related goods. This guitar and banjo cover of The Lumpy Pumpkin by drpez12 really  makes me want to sit down and have a nice big bowl of pumpkin soup.

Mark’s pick

I really enjoyed the early setting of Twilight Princess. There was something about getting to participate in a normal town’s activities that strikes a warm chord within my soul. That being said, I love the Twilight Symphony’s arrangement of Ordon Ranch. It is incredibly relaxing, and makes me want to harvest some pumpkins or herd some goats. Hiyah!
