Between marriage proposals from Princess Ruto to a date with Marin, Link has always been a bit of a lady’s man. But longtime Zelink shippers like myself know his heart belongs to Zelda, especially after playing Skyward Sword. Talk about adorable!
Seeing this shot from the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U of Peach and Link staring dreamily into one another’s eyes is a blow to the heart. Masahiro Sakurai, director of Super Smash Bros. captioned this photo, “By any chance, are you hiding something from me?” I’ll tell you what he’s hiding, his glorious girlfriend, Princess Zelda!
It’s going to be a cat fight once Zelda comes on the scene. Peach is going to wish she stayed in another castle.
