He has quite a (X-mas) gift.

We’ve all heard covers of Zelda songs, some good – some very bad.

However, the cover we discovered today is very, very good!

Not only is it a pitch-perfect recreation of the final credits theme to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, it is inventive (drinking glasses for percussion?) and visually awesome as you watch each part – preformed by the same individual – happening live before your eyes.

All in all, there are nineteen different parts, ranging on everything from a tin whistle to a tin pan, and each is played to perfection.

Just who is this masterful music artist? His name is Fredrik Larsson, but musically he is known as FreddeGedde (a nickname, with “grädde” meaning the food “cream” in Swedish), a 24 year old from Gävle, Sweden. He has several other cover songs up on his YouTube channel but he also has quite a few original songs and is working on writing his first album-length set of music at the moment.

Without further ado, check out the fantastic cover and video after the jump!
