Shrines of Light (commonly just called “Shrines”) are short challenges in Tears of the Kingdom that reward a Light of Blessing. Lights of Blessing are used to increase your maximum health and stamina.

Required. Ultrahand tutorial shrine.

In-isa Shrine: The Ability to Combine

Required. Fuse tutorial shrine.

Gutanbac Shrine: The Ability to Rise

Required. Ascend tutorial shrine.

Nachoyah Shrine: The Ability to Rewind

Required. Recall tutorial shrine.

Kahatanaum Shrine: Rauru’s Blessing

Reward for reaching top of Rising Island Chain

Treasure Chest: Large Zonai Charge

Mayaumekis Shrine: Downward Force

Puzzles use trampolines and switches to open doors.

Hyrule Field

Ishodag Shrine: A Windy Device

Puzzles focus on using Fans to move objects. Can be completed without the Paraglider if you use Recall.

Treasure Chest: Opal

Jiosin Shrine: Shape Rotation

Puzzles use Ultrahand rotation to move large objects through holes of different shapes.

Treasure Chest: Haste Elixir

Kyononis Shrine: Combat Training

Combat tutorial shrine that sides side hobs, back flips, shield bashes, and charge attacks.

Treasure Chest: Zonaite Sword

Mayachin Shrine: A Fixed Device

Puzzles use Ultrahand to propel large orb towards distant targets. Recall potentially useful.

Treasure Chest: Energizing Elixir

Morak Shrine: A Bouncy Device

Paraglider required. Puzzles use Springs to launch Link and objects up ledges and across pits.

Treasure Chest: Sneaky Elixir

Sinakawak Shrine: An Uplifting Device

Puzzles use Ultrahand to transport orbs via hot air balloons.

Treasure Chest: Opal

Susuyai Shrine: A Spinning Device

Puzzles use wheels to traverse rooms and open doors.

Teniten Shrine: Combat Training

Combat tutorial for throwing weapons at enemies.

Treasure Chest: Zonaite Spear

Tukarok Shrine: Forward Force

Puzzles use Ultrahand to transport a large orb across multiple rooms.

Treasure Chest: Strong Zonaite Sword

Yamiyo Shrine: Combat Training: Throwing

Combat tutorial shrine that teaches how to throw materials to defeat enemies.

Great Hyrule Forest

Kiuyoyou Shrine: Fire and Ice

Puzzles using blocks of ice and jets of fire. Ice used to press floor switches if large enough.

Treasure Chest: Zonaite Spear

Hebra Mountains

Sahirow Shrine: ‘Aid From Above’

Avoid laser beams that trigger trap doors using jump and Ascend.

Treasure Chest: Spicy Elixir

Gatakis Shrine: Ride The Winds

Use paraglider to rise and fall through puzzle areas.

Mayausiy Shrine: Building Blocks

Puzzles use Ultrahand to manoeuvre blocks to match shapes.

Treasure Chest: Large Zonai Charge

Oromuwak Shrine: A Launching Device

Puzzles use rockets to propel objects toward targets and across chasms.
