Sinakawak Shrine: ‘An Uplifting Device’

The Sinakawak Shrine is one of the shrines found in Hyrule Field. It is located on North Hyrule Plain northwest of the New Serenne Stable.

The coordinates of the Shrine are -1413, 0756, 0089.

An Uplifting Device

The key to completing this shrine is to use the materials and Zonai devices provided to create a flying device to transport you up to the next part of the puzzle. It’s split into 3 different puzzles.

Puzzle 1

When you enter the shrine, climb the stairs to the back of the main chamber. Once there, if you turn to the left you will find several hot air balloons and wooden boards. Take the biggest of the boards (the middle one) and lay it flat on the ground. Take one of the hot air balloons and attach it to the middle of the board using Ultrahand.

Next to the large candle on the right will be a torch. Light it using the candle and step onto the wooden plank and hold your torch up inside the hot air balloon, causing the balloon to lift off from the ground and carry you up to the next platform.

Puzzle 2

Jump off at the next platform. Here you will be faced with a locked door, with a button on the ceiling that you can’t quite reach. Pick up one of the large candles and position it right in front of the locked door, simultaneously lining it up with the button. Turn to your right and you will see two new balloons. Pick one up and take it over to the locked door and attach it to the candle. Like the last puzzle, the balloon will rise up, pressing the button and opening the door.

Puzzle 3

When you walk through the door, you will be on a large walkway overlooking two platforms. Approach the edge of the walkway and glide down to the floor where you will find a small metal orb surrounded by candles. Beside the orb, there will be another hot air balloon. Similarly to the previous steps, attach the candle to the center of the piece of board provided. Before you add the hot air balloon, attach the small orb to the wood.

When you attach the hot air balloon to the candle, it will start to hover towards the walkway, so climb the ladder on the opposite side. When you get to the top, disconnect the small ball from the board and drop it into the hole on your left, which will open the door to the monument.

Now you can finally go through the first door on the left that you opened. Walk up to the monument and talk to Rauru to collect your Light Orb and complete the Sinakawak Shrine.
