Mayanas Shrine: ‘The Ice Guides You’
Shrine Quest: The South Lanayru Sky Crystal
Find the shrine entrance on the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago, above Wintre Island, to begin the quest. You need to find a nearby crystal and return it to the shrine to begin. A green beam of light connects the shrine and the crystal to reveal the crystal’s location.
Follow the beam of light to the northeast side of Sky Island. Then, use Ascend to reach one of the floating platforms above you. Defeat the Soldier Construct on the floating island and use the provided Rockets to propel yourself higher — you can either Fuse a Rocket to your shield or attach the Rockets to a floating platform and ride that to the top.
The crystal is on one of the highest ledges and is surrounded by vines. Burn the vines (use a Fire Fruit) to reach the crystal.
To return the crystal to the shrine, you can build a flying machine with the provided materials, or you can carry the crystal and then throw it down. There are no gaps to throw it across, so you do not need to worry much about the crystal falling off the Sky Islands.
Once you return the crystal to the shrine, the shrine will activate.
Slide ice platforms down the ramp
Pick up the provided Ice Fruits. Throw one in the water in the center of the room to create an ice platform. Use Ultrahand to pick up the ice platform, then slide it down the ramp on the other side of the room. The ice will slide down the ramp and across the ice quickly and automatically.
Your goal is to hit the target on the far side of the spikes with the ice platform. You must aim and time when you drop the platform to ensure it hits the target.
Once you hit the target, the door to the Blessing of Light will open.
