Tears of the Kingdom takes home Joystick Award for Most Wanted

While the world waits for The Game Awards to turn up the heat Thursday evening, Zelda fans are hoping to see more new information about Tears of the Kingdom, the title we now know to be Breath of the Wild’s mysterious sequel. It’s already nominated as a candidate for the Most Anticipated Game award. Little do some know, however, that Tears of the Kingdom has already swiped a medal from the Joystick Awards for Most Wanted game. This game must be so wanted by now it may as well be the Triforce in disguise. Few other titles can stand in with the likes of Elden Ring and nab trophies even before being released.

Speaking of which, we might already have a clue on what the rating could be for Tears of the Kingdom. According to @gematsu, the game has already been rated by the South Korea Rating and Administration Committee. This Korean rating suggests that the game is suitable for 12 years and up and contains some “mild violence.” The ESRB has not commented or made a rating at this time.

Be sure to tune into The Game Awards tonight to see if Tears of the Kingdom can take home the honor of “Most Anticipated,” and maybe see if a new trailer drops.
