During this year’s summer games reveal that used to happen religiously every year with an event back in the day called E3, Nintendo finally showcased their big Nintendo Direct. This was more than 50 minutes of upcoming games coming out for the latter half of the year on the Nintendo Switch 2 such as Star Fox, The Duskbloods, and Splatoon Raiders. Other games that were showcased were fan favorites like Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3, Devil May Cry 5, Fire Emblem, Steller Blade, and Kingdom Hearts IV, to name a few. All in all it seems that the latter half of the year going into 2027 will be a huge hit for Nintendo and fans alike.

Amongst all of these amazing reveals, the one most of us here had been waiting for was finally revealed as the show closer. Yes, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was revealed and hopefully it’s not a remaster but a remake. That would be huge. This would mean that they could do so much for the game now, since they would not be confined to the structures of the original game like how Grezzo was with the Ocarina of Time 3D remaster they did for the 3DS, which was amazing in its own right. Now the potential for this game to be something more than the original is high but even if it’s just a remaster then it still looks amazing. Check the reveal on the official Nintendo Youtube page down below.

It’s an exciting time for us Zelda fans nonetheless and with a release date scheduled for this year, we won’t have long to wait. It’s highly likely that Nintendo will reveal more in a future upcoming direct, so stay tuned for that. But for now, let’s all celebrate together that one of the best Zelda titles ever made, is coming back for more. See you all soon!
