Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest is coming to Los Angeles on June 6, 2025 and this time they’re bringing along a new guest: The Big N itself.
Historically, Nintendo has not been a consistent participating vendor of the Summer Games Fest event. It made a rather vague appearance in 2022 with only a Nintendo Direct mentioned in June during that year. But ever since the closing of the E3 trade shows, Nintendo has been rather notorious with keeping to itself in its exclusive Nintendo Direct online presentations when it comes to being promoted at trade shows. Until now.
Presented from the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, CA, Summer Games Fest will stream live globally on June 6, 2025 5pm ET / 2pm PT / 9pm GMT, just one day after the Nintendo Switch 2 launches worldwide. The timing of such does cast a whiff of something Nintendo is cooking up regarding the new console. Will they show it off during Summer Games Fest? What games will they demonstrate? Will they show anything new that hasn’t been seen or known yet? We’ll have to sit tight and see what unfolds. Let’s get our Switch 2 preorders settled and done first.
