Ahoy, Zelda fans! Are you ready to set sail on a speed running adventure for a good cause? Of course you are. Zeldathon is currently hosting their annual speed speed running event to raise funds for charity: water, a humanitarian organization dedicated to providing clean and safe water to everyone. Naturally, Zeldathon has named the theme this year Voyage because it’s based on, you know, that essential H20 stuff.
Zeldathon Voyage runs from June 9 to 14. It is currently live streaming on Twitch at the time of this writing and can be watched here. They’re already riding favorable winds with more than $35,000 USD in donations, and still going strong. Viewers can watch Zelda Universe member Astral Empress speed run a Skyward Sword randomizer here. Zeldathon also has some fun activities to watch in between such as interactive games, live music, content creator merch prizes, and even a puppet show. And of course, a plethora of Zelda games are being featured as well, including The Wind Waker, Echoes of Wisdom and Tears of the Kingdom.
