The celebration of Tears of the Kingdom’s one-year anniversary is far from over, and Nintendo is not ashamed to brag about it. First off, the Big N promoted items themed from Tears of the Kingdom again at their local Tokyo store in Japan. It’s still only available in Japan at this time as far as we know. The treasure trove of merchandise includes a Zonai wing device carpet, a hairband inspired by Purah, Zonai earrings, Secret Stone keychains, a bomb flower pocketbook, Geoglyph computer decals, and more goodies than you probably would know what to do with.
Secondly, Nintendo has decided to conduct a sweepstakes on their latest collab Legend of Zelda lineup with Black Milk Clothing now through July 9. My Nintendo Rewards Members can participate for a chance to win by using up to 10 Platinum Points as entry credit. The sweepstakes winners will receive one of three clothing sets: a Power of the Zonai Giant Tee, Power of the Zonai Hoodie, or a Ganondorf Robe with none other than the dastardly Gerudo King himself. Details of how to play in the Black Milk Sweepstakes can be found here.

Nintendo also began reissuing Tears of the Kingdom icons on May 13 for My Nintendo Rewards Members to cash in with their Platinum Points. A fair amount of these icons have made their rounds before, but there are also new ones too, including Purah, Robbie, Sonia, President Hudson, and even the President’s loyal employee Addison! The first wave of icons were available until May 17, and the second wave of icons are available now until May 20.

But that wasn’t the end of the celebration. As soon as May 12 turned the corner on the Japan calendar, the Big N pulled one remarkable surprise. Nintendo showed off a gorgeous shiny new piece of official artwork that’s powerful enough to make any Zelink ship fan flip head over heels. It also depicts a certain cutscene at the end of the game that’s a major spoiler, so if you don’t want to get endgame spoiled, now’s your chance to stop here and go elsewhere on the site while you can!

The artwork shows none other than our hero Link finally catching Zelda’s hand as they fall from the sky in their sheer drop down to the Hyrulean landscape. It’s the perfect bookend to Link struggling to catch a panicked Zelda at the beginning, which was depicted in the promotional official art of the game’s launch last year. In fact, one of the most noticeable differences between the two pieces is the peace awash on their faces now that Link has finally found Zelda safe and sound. Rest easy, Hero of the Wild. Your hard work is finally complete!
