A new trailer for Tears of the Kingdom has been released, this time showing off some of the upcoming game’s creative gameplay mechanics. The near 13-minute video sees series producer Eiji Aonuma exploring both the altered surface of Hyrule, and the sky islands high above the land. Several new features that we’ve only seen glimpses of in previous trailers were demonstrated, including a nifty fusion ability that lets us build our own weapon combinations and assemble makeshift vehicles. We also saw a time-manipulating ability known as Recall, and a means to pass through solid surfaces called Ascend.
After the gameplay demonstration was over, a Tears of the Kingdom-themed Switch OLED modeled was revealed, along with a special Tears of the Kingdom Pro Controller and Switch carrying case.
