Nintendo announces new Indie World Showcase livestream for April 14

Earlier today, Nintendo announced via Twitter a new Indie World Showcase for Wednesday, April 14 at 9am PT / 12pm ET. The livestream will be “roughly 20 minutes” and will feature new indie games headed to the Nintendo Switch.

Specific titles have not yet been mentioned for the first Indie World of this year. 2019 brought us the unexpected announcement of the first indie Zelda crossover, Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer feat. The Legend of Zelda, marking the first time a small, independent development studio worked with a franchise as large as Zelda.
