We saw many familiar faces in yesterday’s Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and among them was a fleeting glimpse of a big, recognizable leafy mask. As the team navigated Urbosa through the under-threat Gerudo Town, a Korok was discovered in a corner.

Going by the footage, it seems that you can uncover Koroks simply by approaching their pinwheel, rather than solving puzzles like in Breath of the Wild (which wouldn’t quite fit into Age of Calamity’s musou-style gameplay).
The Treehouse presenters didn’t comment much on the Koroks, aside from stating that you can find them across each stage. It’s not yet clear how many there will be in the game, or what reward(s) are in store for warriors who discover them.
