With a new Nintendo Direct comes new video game information, and Thursday’s was anything but lacking in interesting announcements. As we are Zelda Universe, however, there’s one we wanted to point out to our lovely readers, and it’s an update for Ring Fit.
In the announcement, the fitness game received a new Rhythm mode that lets you swing your arms from side to side. Most of the music contained in this mode comes from Ring Fit’s soundtrack, but a few choice titles were also pulled from Nintendo’s catalog. One such track is a medley of tunes from Breath of the Wild.

It’s a sort of compilation of a few very recognizable tracks, including the game’s theme and Ganon’s tunes. Notably, the track starts off getting your heart pumping with The Guardian’s theme. If that won’t get you running, I don’t know what will.
Other tracks include “Jump Up, Super Star!” from Mario Odyssey, a medley from Wii Fit, and another from Splatoon 2. It’s a great mini-game for a free update, and it’s more cardio than you might think. Hopefully Nintendo sees an opportunity to make a more full rhythm game featuring its unbeatable catalog of music.
