If you didn’t think the Link’s Awakening remake was adorable and charming enough already, its new amiibo may convince you.
Releasing September 20, the same day as the game itself, the Link amiibo perfectly captures the character and looks like it came straight out of the game. The only question now is whether anyone else will be making an appearance as amiibo.
Nintendo also disclosed using the Link’s Awakening amiibo will add Shadow Link to the Chamber Dungeon mode. Shadow Link will actively pursue you, but if you fight and defeat him, you earn extra rupees. Although we don’t know the specifics, Nintendo additionally stated every other released Zelda amiibo can be used as well.
As of this writing, you can currently order it at Best Buy for $15.99. You may want to hurry in case they sell out!
