The Reputation Institute’s U.S. RepTrak 100 has released their 2019 ranking for the 100 most reputable companies in the United States, and fans of Nintendo will be pleased to see the company has secured a spot in the top ten.
Nintendo ranked ninth overall, sharing the top 10 percent with some of the largest companies in the U.S. There were many upsets in this year’s ranking compared to previous studies, with Netflix surging 23 spots to make it to number one while previous high rankers such as Google and Amazon plummeted.
No doubt Nintendo’s solid history of family-friendly software, along with the success of the Nintendo Switch, helped secure them a top-ten ranking this year. Their recent efforts to broaden their IPs’ reach into the public eye likely helped as well. Let’s hope Nintendo’s success continues to carry them into new and exciting ventures!
