If you were hoping to bug Nintendo and Sakurai with a campaign to get your favorite character into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, then you are too late. According to a tweet from Sakurai himself, it would appear that the DLC roster for the game has already been decided.
The tweets state that Nintendo has decided who the DLC characters will be, with Sakurai signing off on whether or not he could create a fighter based on their choices. Of course, no hint of who they could be was given.
Sakurai also followed up that tweet with another, basically appreciating fans passion, but imploring everyone to stay on topic and not flood Nintendo, himself or the fans with suggestions when they are not asked for them. You can read the tweets below.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s DLC line-up is now complete. This time the selection was made entirely by Nintendo. I decide if we can create a fighter based on their selection, then come up with the plan.
