Our first-ever #ZUThon is March 3rd at 6pm and we’re playing 48-hours of Breath of the Wild

Hi there, long time no talk. It’s your friendly neighborhood friend, Elias, again here to talk to you about yet another charity video game marathon, but (gasp) this one is actually being put on by Zelda Universe!

Literally everyone in the Zelda community and beyond is hyped for the upcoming release of Breath of the Wild, and one of the ways we at ZU are celebrating is by putting on our first ever “ZUThon” charity marathon, this one being a 48-hour Breath of the Wild launch weekend marathon benefiting Direct Relief, a humanitarian organization that improves the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergency situations by mobilizing and providing essential medical resources needed for their care. The marathon begins Friday, March 3rd at 6pm EST and goes 48 hours until Sunday, March 5th at 6pm EST. You can watch it on our Twitch channel (so go give us a follow so you can be reminded of when we’re starting) or right here on ZeldaUniverse.net!

This has been a long time coming for Zelda Universe. Even long before I, or any other of the Zelda Eternity mergees, came on board, ZU has striven to begin a Twitch presence, and with the combined efforts of streaming veterans that came from Zelda Eternity, the entire media team, and everyone else that help put this together, we hope the stream that we’ll have for you all on the 3rd will be a fun time for both attendees and chat participants, as well as gather a lot of donations for a charity that does some amazing work. We’ll even have prizes to give out, so don’t miss it!

Excited as we are? Feel free to share the event on social media using the image below and the hashtag #ZUThon!
