It’s time to announce the schedule for ZUthon, our charity Zelda marathon raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, along with some special guests who’ll be joining our team.
In a matter of hours, our third annual charity marathon, ZUthon: Zelda for Eternity, will be kicking off at 3.00pm EDT on Thursday, August 1. We’ll be playing Zelda games for 100 hours straight, all while raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Viewers can watch the marathon and donate over at our Twitch channel.
ZUthon will kick off with a playthrough of Twilight Princess. Some of the other games that will be covered during the marathon include Breath of the Wild, The Wind Waker, Majora’s Mask, Cadence of Hyrule, The Legend of Zelda, and an Ocarina of Time randomizer. You can view the full schedule below (click image to enlarge).

Our team will be joined by guest players Josh Jepson and Clubbin’ Baby Seals, who will be playing Ocarina of Time randomized and The Wind Waker respectively. We also have guests who’ll be joining our team as commentators: AttackingTucans, who will be commentating during Thursday’s The Legend of Zelda run, Chuggaaconroy and Masae Anela will join the team for live commentary, and Marriland will be a commentator on Saturday’s Oracle of Seasons play through. (AttackingTucans and Marriland will be commentating remotely).
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital aims to fight childhood diseases such as cancer by seeking cures and preventative measures. They focus on both research and treatment and aim to never deny treatment to any child regardless of race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay. Everyone who donates during ZUthon will be eligible for prize draws during the marathon.
The event will be a lot of fun, and we hope that you will join us and consider donating toward our cause. We’ll have some fun donation incentives which will allow you to make things more difficult for our players or change things up during the stream.
We look forward to seeing you there!
